The Great Commission Theological Institute Accreditation is an internationally accredited Organisation by the International Education Quality Accreditation Body (IEQAB).
The Great Commission Theological Institute Accreditation is one of the largest, non-governmental accrediting organisations in the world.
GCTIA is a non-profit theological college committed to academic excellence, intellectual freedom, ethical conduct, and moral integrity.
GCTIA was chartered as a charitable corporation in the State of South Africa to help establish, support, maintain, and promote the development of non-traditional, modular, and private tutoring/mentoring methods on campus, as well as audio/video-taped, online, and other distance learning methods off campus. Our registration number is 2019/315829/07.
We foster flexible, experimental, innovative, personalized learning alternatives and traditional post-secondary and graduate-level educational modalities. Our affiliated schools offer degrees that are legitimate, totally honorable, widely respected, and generally accepted within the Christian community.
Objectives
To serve as a link for spiritual fellowship, mutual encouragement, technical assistance, and professional information-sharing among member schools.
To represent the GCTIA membership before government agencies and regulatory bodies.
To sponsor a national conference offering seminars, workshops, and an awards ceremony where member schools will be recognized and honored for outstanding achievements.
To establish an independent Accrediting Commission to evaluate and certify Christian colleges and seminaries.
Institutional Policy of Non-Discrimination:
The Great Commission Theological Institute Accreditation admits colleges and universities of any race, color, nationality, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.
It does not discriminate among any of the categories mentioned above in the administration of its educational and admissions policies, scholarships, financial assistance, and academic programs.

Accreditation Process
GCTI follows a comprehensive accreditation process, allowing institutes to easily acquire accreditation from a leading international accreditation agency without any hassle. However, please note that to accredit any institution, the GCTIA requires proper documentation of the institution’s registration and foundation. The following are the eligibility criteria for acquiring the GCTI’s accreditation:
1. Institutes must be registered in their region, in accordance with their laws.
2. Institutes, whether private or government, must be functional for at least 3 months.
3. Institutes must have qualified faculty members to guarantee their commitment towards providing quality education.
4. Institutes must provide all the documentation requested by the GCTIA consultants for review. Failure to do so will result in the disapproval of the application.
The following is the process of accreditation followed by the GCTIA:
1. Institutes that are willing to acquire the GCTI’s accreditation will have to submit their application for review with the required documentation. The GCTIA consultants will guide you through the entire process and the required documents to ensure the process goes smoothly.
2. The GCTIA Global Inspection Committee will visit the institute online to verify and evaluate. The Global Inspection Committee Members (ICM) will ensure all the information provided in the initial application is correct, and at the same time, will evaluate if the institute meets the GCTIA’s criteria. In case an institute does not meet our criteria, we would give out instructions on how they can improve and become eligible.
3. After the on-site inspection of the institute, a summary is submitted to the GCTIA Council by our Global Inspection Committee, upon which the GCTIA decides whether or not to provide accreditation to the institute.

APPLICATION FOR THE GCTI ACCREDITATION
Accreditation Requirements:
The institute applying for accreditation must be offering authorized courses.
The programs/degrees offered must be provided independently of your institution, without any affiliation with another name or organization.
Get GCTI’s Accreditation Seal & Certificate:
When you acquire GCTI’s accreditation, you are awarded with formal certification and the GCTIA’s official seal, which you can place on your digital and print marketing collateral to prove you are an internationally recognized institute.
Programs and Courses Accreditation Services
Our accreditation services are the process by which the professional training program in various fields is evaluated in accordance with the standards set by the GCTIA.
When we verify that the training program complies with these standards, our accreditation for the program certificates is granted.
The accreditation process aims to prove that the training program has met the international standards set by us, which leads to an increase in the credibility of the training program by providing GCTIA monitoring.
GCTIA must accept a training program or training material before it can be accredited. This approval indicates that the training is of exceptionally high quality and that the learner will gain new skills due to the training.
